News Report – Investiture Ceremony 2025-26

The Investiture Ceremony of Kalpa School for the academic year 2025-26 was held on 12th July, 2025 to invest the newly chosen batch of prefects. It was a momentous day in the hearts of the students, teachers and parents as the prefects proudly took the responsibility of upholding the school’s high morals, principles and standards.
The ceremony commenced upon the arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest Smt. K. Shilpavalli, IPS Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, city police, Hyderabad.
The Chief Guest was welcomed with the Guard of Honour led by the Head Boy – P. Hrishi Rao and Head Girl- Chinmayi Chodavarapu, followed by the Deputy Head Boy -T. V. N. Sai Teja, Deputy Head Girl- Sanaya Chandra Shekhar and the house captains. She was escorted to the dais by our Director Mrs. Kusum Gupta and Principal Mrs. Ayesha Jeelani for the commencement of the ceremony.
Mrs. Kusum Gupta, Director of Kalpa School, delivered the welcome address. In her speech, our director highlighted the importance of the event and the significance of instilling the sense of duty and leadership in all the prefects.
Following this, the Kalpa Prefects Cabinet performed the march past showcasing sincerity, discipline and responsibility. The Head Boy led the march, holding the Kalpa Flag and was followed by the prefect team.
The Chief Guest then invested the prefects with their appointed positions. During the Oath Ceremony, the prefects solemnly accepted their duties, vowing to maintain the school’s high standards and to positively influence their peers. It was a wonderful spectacle and a moment of pride for the students, parents, teachers and the school administration.
The Chief Guest addressed the audience after the Oath Ceremony. Her speech was filled with wisdom and knowledge leaving along-lasting impression on everyone. She had an engaging conversation with the students and at the same time left food for thought to the parents on inculcating good habits and hobbies amongst children. Her thought-provoking speech was received with great enthusiasm by the newly appointed leaders, students, teachers and parents.
The Head Boy and Head Girl addressed the gathering. They expressed their gratitude on being chosen to lead their fellow Kalpites, and pledged to fulfill the responsibilities to their best abilities and make the school proud.
Tokens of appreciation and monetary award were given to the top scorers from the 2024-25 batch for their excellence in academics and outstanding performance in the ICSE board examinations. This marked the conclusion to the wondrous ceremony.
The Investiture Ceremony was not merely about investing posts and duties; it was an occasion, a celebration of responsibility, duty, capability, commitment and team spirit. It marks the beginning of a new journey for each leader to reach the pinnacle of success and excellence.
