Kalpa School, 22nd June 2024

 

The Investiture Ceremony of Kalpa School was held on 22nd of June 2024 to showcase and imbibe in the students the essence of leadership and responsibility. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested student office bearers.

 

The ceremony commenced on the arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Sri Vijay Kumar. He is the remarkable DCP of West Zone, Telangana who has achieved great success in his field of expertise. The school was honoured to have him as the Guest of Honour because he is a source of inspiration to the young minds.

 

The Chief Guest was escorted by the Director of Kalpa School Mrs. Kusum Gupta ma’am and the Principal Ayesha Jeelani ma’am during the Guard of Honour performed by the Head Boy Yohan Vinay, Head Girl Shriya Vora, Deputy Head Boy Faisal Khan and Deputy Head Girl D.B.V Chinmayi.

 

Subsequently, the Kalpa Prefects Cabinet conducted an organised, rhythmic, and steady march parade.The march was led by the Head Boy holding the majestic Kalpa Flag. He was followed by the Sports Captains, House Captains and all the office bearers. The Kalpa Cabinet marched with precision, perfection, pride and synchronisation with the School Flags soaring high.

 

This grand event featured the Chief Guest pinning badges and announcing the appointed positions of the students. During the Oath Ceremony, the prefects solemnly accepted their duties, vowing to maintain the school’s high standards and to positively influence their peers. It was a glorious spectacle and a proud moment for the students, parents, teachers, and the school administration.

 

The Chief Guest honoured the ceremony by addressing the students after the Oath Ceremony. His motivational speech ignited a fire within the hearts of the newly appointed leaders and all the students fostering a spirit of determination and resilience.

 

Following the Oath ceremony the Head Boy and Head Girl gave a speech expressing their gratitude at being selected to represent the school and pledged that they along with the Kalpa Prefects Cabinet would uphold the school’s principles and set a good example for their juniors.

 

After this the top achievers of the ICSE board examination were awarded. Additionally, the top performers of the previous academic year also received awards.

 

The Director, Mrs. Kusum Gupta Ma’am, concluded the ceremony by expressing gratitude to the Guest of Honour and all attendees. This investiture ceremony was not merely about conferring titles and responsibilities; it was a celebration of potential, an acknowledgment of capability, and a commitment to a journey of growth and excellence.
