Independence Day 2018

Today the students of Kalpa celebrated India’s 72nd Independence Day with great zeal and the spirit of nationalism. The day began with a march-past by the prefects of Class X and flag hoisting by our Director along with our Adviser. The students sang the national anthem and took the pledge.

The Head Boy Pranay Jaju and the Deputy Head Girl, Vaishnavi .B spoke on the glorious history of India. The students of Pre-Primary recited a poem on patriotism. Primary school students dedicated their performance to Bharat Mata performed a beautiful dance on the song ‘Ae Watan’. The Middle school students put up a dance cum skit on how we should maintain harmony between all the nations. The students of class X dedicated their dance on the song ‘Kar Har Maidan Fateh’ to the soldiers who always protect the country no matter what the condition.

In her speech, the director congratulated the students and teachers for putting up such a great show in such a short span of time.
