The Independence Day celebrations at Kalpa School were marked by excitement, pride, and patriotic spirit, with the campus beautifully adorned with creative, thoughtfully designed boards capturing the essence of the nation.
The programme opened with a disciplined March Past led by the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Sports Captain, and Vice Captain, followed by the ceremonial flag hoisting by Director Mrs. Kusum Gupta, Principal Mrs. Ayesha Jeelani, Vice Principal Mrs. Kalpana, and the in-charges.
A soulful prayer song set a serene tone for the celebrations. The Pre-Primary students delighted everyone with its innocence and adorable performances, while the Middle School presented a graceful classical dance interwoven with patriotic songs.
The Primary School paid tribute to the brave men and women who fought for India’s freedom, followed by a vibrant Telugu dance celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage. The school band brought energy to the event with a spirited musical performance.
A specially staged skit walked the audience through pivotal moments in India’s freedom struggle — the Swadeshi Movement and Boycott, the Jallianwala Bagh tragedy, and the Dandi March. The High School students closed out the performances with two powerful acts, and the celebration concluded on a dignified note with the National Anthem.
The Independence Day celebration at Kalpa School was truly a magnificent occasion that celebrated patriotism, unity, courage, talent, and pride in our nation.
