Investiture Ceremony 2026: A Celebration of Leadership and Excellence

The Investiture Ceremony of Kalpa School was held on 11th July, 2026 to showcase and imbibe in the students the essence of leadership and responsibility. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested student office bearers.

The ceremony commenced with the arrival of the esteemed Guest of Honour Dr. P. Lavanya, NJP Deputy Commissioner of Police, Women’s Safety Wing, Hyderabad, Telangana. The school was deeply honoured to have her as the Guest of Honour because she is a source of inspiration to all the young minds.

The Guest of Honour was escorted by the Director of Kalpa School Mrs. Kusum Gupta ma’am, Principal Ayesha Jeelani ma’am and Vice-Principal Kalpana Puri ma’am during the magnificent Guard of Honour presented by Head Boy Laksh Pagaria, Head Girl Preksha Jain, Deputy Head Boy Kavin Venkat Reddy, Deputy Head Girl P. Vahini, Kanchenjunga House Captain Pakshal Mehta and Nanda Devi House Captain Pranav Narayan Lal. Their remarkable discipline, perfect coordination and dignified bearing reflected the spirit of unity, dedication and excellence that Kalpa School proudly nurtures.

Subsequently, the Kalpa Prefects Cabinet conducted a splendid, disciplined and well-coordinated march parade. The parade was led by Head Boy Laksh Pagaria, proudly carrying the majestic Kalpa School Flag. He was followed by the Sports Captains, House Captains and all the office bearers. The Kalpa Cabinet marched with exceptional precision, unwavering discipline, remarkable synchronisation and immense pride, while the School Flag soared high, filling the atmosphere with enthusiasm and honour.

The grand ceremony reached another proud milestone as the Guest of Honour conferred the badges of responsibility and officially announced the positions of the appointed students. During the Oath Ceremony, the prefects solemnly accepted their duties, vowing to maintain the school’s high standards and to positively influence their peers. It was a glorious spectacle and a proud moment for the students, parents, teachers and the school administration.

The Guest of Honour honoured the ceremony by addressing the students after the Oath Ceremony. Her powerful words of wisdom, drawn from both her childhood experiences and her distinguished journey in public service, ignited a fire within the hearts of the newly appointed leaders. She encouraged every student to develop patience, confidence, awareness, kindness and politeness, reminding them that genuine leadership is built upon humility, responsibility and the constant pursuit of excellence and selfless service.

Following the Oath Ceremony, the Head Boy and Head Girl gave a speech expressing their gratitude at being selected to represent the school and pledged that they, along with the Kalpa Prefects Cabinet, would uphold the school’s principles and set a good example for their juniors.

After this the top achievers of the ICSE board examination were awarded. Additionally, the top performers of the previous academic year also received awards for their remarkable dedication.

The Director, Mrs. Kusum Gupta Ma’am, concluded the ceremony by expressing gratitude to the Guest of Honour and all the attendees. The event concluded on a note of pride, hope and renewed determination, marking the beginning of another promising chapter in Kalpa School’s legacy of excellence.
